Today, Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco (R-25) hosted participants of the Morris County Chamber of Commerce’s Lead Morris program at the Statehouse for their State Government Day. Business leaders, entrepreneurs, and members of the State Chamber of Commerce gathered to discuss how the legislature and business community can collaborate to improve New Jersey's business climate.

"As someone who is very familiar with the Lead Morris program, I know just how beneficial these conversations can be," said Sen. Bucco. "The business community is the backbone of our economy and having an open dialogue is imperative to understand how we can improve our residents' quality of life. Bringing business owners, entrepreneurs, and hardworking New Jerseyans to the table is the best way to make the Garden State a great place to live, work, and raise a family."

Lead Morris educates business professionals about opportunities, challenges, institutions, and people in Morris County. The program targets recognized leaders and professionals identified for future leadership roles whose business acumen and community consciousness are expected to impact Morris County positively. Each year, approximately 30 individuals are selected for Leadership Morris.
