Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco has been awarded the "Legislator of the Year" by ASAH, an organization dedicated to supporting students and youth with disabilities. This award recognizes his efforts in collaboration with parents, teachers, and medical professionals to improve conditions for children and young adults with disabilities in New Jersey.

"I am extremely honored and grateful to ASAH for this prestigious award," Sen. Bucco stated. He emphasized that the recognition reflects the hard work done collectively to achieve significant progress for equal representation of the disabled community. Bucco expressed his commitment to continue working alongside ASAH and legislative colleagues to further advance these goals.

ASAH has been advocating for policies that enhance the well-being and quality of special education programs since 1974.
