New Jersey American Water is scheduled to conduct roadwork on Baird Boulevard in Camden, New Jersey. The work will commence on Friday, November 15, starting at 11 p.m. and continuing until 10 a.m. the following day. This project will necessitate a complete closure of the road between Federal and Carman streets.

Commissioner Al Dyer, who serves as the liaison to the Department of Public Works, advised motorists to "plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations." He also emphasized caution for those traveling through construction zones: "Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris."

The Camden County Department of Public Works oversees over 1,200 miles of county roads along with 50 bridges and several dams. Their responsibilities include highway construction projects and various maintenance tasks such as pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage upkeep. The department operates out of Lindenwold with personnel available around the clock to serve Camden County residents.
