PSE&G will conduct roadwork on Westfield Avenue in Camden, resulting in a partial closure from Wednesday, November 13 to Thursday, November 14. The work will take place between North 38th and North 40th streets from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Commissioner Al Dyer, who serves as the liaison to the Department of Public Works, advised motorists to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. He emphasized caution: “Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works manages over 1,200 miles of county roads along with numerous bridges and dams. Their responsibilities include highway construction projects and routine maintenance such as pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage upkeep. The department operates out of Lindenwold with personnel available around the clock.

Residents can report roadway concerns by calling (856) 566-2980 or visiting www.camdencounty.com.
