This week, a one-way detour will be implemented on Kings Highway between Black Horse Pike and East Lake Drive in Haddon Heights. The detour will occur from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 14, and Friday, November 15. This closure is part of the ongoing Kings Highway improvement project that began in September.

Commissioner Al Dyer, who serves as the liaison to the Department of Public Works, emphasized the importance of this brief closure for the project's progress. He advised motorists to avoid the area during these times and seek alternate routes. "Motorists should avoid the area during the closure and find alternate routes before traveling," Dyer stated. He also reminded drivers to exercise caution in construction zones by slowing down and being vigilant for debris and road crew members.

Residents with questions or concerns about this project can contact Paul Nolan, Project Manager at Colliers Engineering & Design, at (732) 704-5931. For issues related to Camden County roadways, residents can call (856) 566-2980 or visit www.camdencounty.com.
