Early Wednesday morning, the Mosquito Control Commission will be in the community spraying and surveilling areas throughout Camden County.

Commissioner Jeff Nash, liaison to the Camden County Mosquito Commission, emphasized the importance of addressing standing water. "It’s important for homeowners to check their yard and get rid of any standing water to prevent mosquitos from spreading," Nash said. "Be sure to check flowerpots and other plastic containers for standing water. Being proactive can have a major impact on the mosquito population and help the hardworking people at the Camden County Mosquito Control Commission in their efforts."

The Camden County Mosquito Commission will conduct ULV "spraying" operations on Wednesday, July 10, between 2 AM and 6 AM in the following locations, weather permitting:

- Gloucester Township: Donna Marie Ct., Latham Way, Spring Hollow Dr., Sicklerville Rd., Farmhouse Rd., Farmhouse Ct., Stowe Ct., Breckenridge Dr., Lake Placid Dr., Val David Ct., Saint Moritz Dr., Sugar Bush Dr., Persia Ct., Mont Blanc Ct., Kearsley Rd.

- Winslow: Meadowood Ln., Meadowrue Ln., High Meadows Dr.

- Chesilhurst: Miller Ave., Thompson Ave., Washington Ave., Hayes Ave., Grant Ave., Center Ave., 4th Ave., 3rd Ave., 2nd Ave., 1st Ave.

- Garfield: Arthur Ave.

- Cleveland: Zimmerman Ave.

- Jackson Rd.: Bellevue Ave.

- Bellevue Ct.: 4th St.

- Daton Ave.: 3rd St.

- Almira Ave.: Atco Ave.

- 5th St.: Church St.
