Camden County announces 2025 Summer Parks Concert Series

The Camden County Board of Commissioners has announced the return of the Summer Parks Concert Series for 2025. Commissioner Deputy Director Ed McDonnell stated, “The summer concert series is highly anticipated and another great way for us to ignite activity throughout the Camden County Parks System.” The events will feature world-class performances at no cost to the public.

Sponsors for this year's series include First Montgomery Group, Twilight Concert Series at Cooper River Park, and All Risk, Sundown Music Series at Haddon Lake Park. Camden Mayor Victor G. Carstarphen added, “The Camden County Summer Parks Concert Series for 2025 will be another season of free quality entertainment for all to enjoy.”

The Sunset Jazz Series at Wiggins Waterfront Park will be supported by Rutgers University-Camden. Antonio D. Tillis, chancellor of Rutgers University–Camden, expressed the university’s enthusiasm, noting, “The 2025 Summer Concert Series represents a vibrant celebration of the arts and community.”

Haddon Heights Mayor Zach Houck shared his excitement as well, saying, “Haddon Heights is once again thrilled to welcome the Camden County Summer Park Concert Series for 2025.”

The 2025 concert schedule includes various performances and locations:

- Sunset Jazz Series at Wiggins Waterfront Park, start time at 8 p.m.

- June 2: Tab Benoit

- June 9: Who’s Bad: The Ultimate Michael Jackson Experience

- June 23: Julian Marley & The Uprising

- Additional concerts throughout September.

- Sundown Music Series at Haddon Lake Park, start time at 7:30 p.m.

- June 4: Low Cut Connie, with Sug Daniels

- June 18: Start Making Sense: A Tribute to Talking Heads, with Lena Fine

- More performances till September.

- Twilight Concert Series at Cooper River Park, start time at 8 p.m.

- June 12: The Hobbs Sisters

- June 26: Todd Rundgren

- Additional acts on July 31 and August 21.

- Additional shows at Peter Volpa Memorial Park, Lindenwold Park, Waterford Lions Park, and LeAnna Harris Park in Chesilhurst.

The concerts offer an array of music genres, from jazz and rock to pop and country, allowing attendees to enjoy various musical styles throughout the summer months.
