On March 25, local teens in Camden County gathered at the boathouse to collect prom attire, as part of an initiative orchestrated by the Camden County Board of Commissioners in collaboration with local enforcement and corrections departments. The event, now in its third year, aims to provide formalwear at no cost, ensuring a memorable prom experience for students.

Men's Warehouse joined the initiative, offering quality tuxedos and suits. Commissioner Virginia Betteridge commented, "This event knocks down the barriers of cost and access to prom dresses and suits so that every student can feel great on their special night." She emphasized the importance of community collaboration in making the event a success, stating, "This event really brings the community together and it would not be possible without the collaboration from residents and our community partners."
