Governor Murphy has signed a bipartisan bill into law, which was sponsored by Senator Michael Testa. This legislation will allocate a $7.65 million grant to the Cumberland County Technical Education Center (CCTEC). The funds are intended to expand career and technical education opportunities for students at the school.

Senator Testa expressed his support for the initiative, stating, "Cumberland County Technical Education Center is an incredible resource for students to gain hands-on experience, earn industry certifications, and even get a head start on college curriculum." He further emphasized the importance of the funding: "With the Governor’s signature, we can ensure CCTEC has the funds necessary to expand their career and technical education programs, giving students more of an opportunity to learn, grow, and acquire the necessary skills needed to succeed."
