He stated, "President Trump’s words tonight have shown us what we already knew—more empty promises and divisive language. Prices are rising, and working families are still struggling. Americans need and deserve real solutions, not just talk."

Later that day, Norcross extended well-wishes to those observing a religious tradition. He tweeted at midday on March 5: "Wishing a meaningful Ash Wednesday and season of Lent to those observing."

In the afternoon of March 5, Norcross conveyed his condolences upon learning about the passing of Congressman Sylvester Turner. Reflecting on Turner's leadership as Mayor of Houston, he remarked: "Heartbroken to hear of the passing of Congressman Sylvester Turner. As Mayor of Houston, he led with resilience, tackling disaster recovery, pension reform, and public safety. His leadership will leave a lasting mark." He extended his thoughts to the people of Texas's 18th district.
