Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey's 1st district since 2014, has been vocal on social media about various issues under the Trump Administration. In a series of tweets, he addressed concerns related to housing costs, economic struggles faced by families, and opportunities for public service internships.

On February 14, 2025, Congressman Norcross highlighted the issue of rising housing costs and evictions during the first Trump Administration. He expressed support for efforts by the U.S. House Financial Services Committee to counteract what he described as attempts by the Trump Administration to freeze federal funding aimed at ending homelessness and building affordable housing. "Housing costs & evictions skyrocketed under the first Trump Administration while corporate landlords bought up the housing stock. I support @USHouseFSC’s effort to stop the Trump Admin’s efforts to freeze federal funding used to end homelessness and build affordable housing."

On February 16, 2025, Norcross commented on what he termed as "another week of chaos" under the current administration. He criticized its lack of action in alleviating economic hardships faced by families across America. He invited readers to access his full statement for more details. "It's been another week of chaos, confusion, and uncertainty under the Trump Administration, which has done nothing to relieve families of the economic struggles they are facing every day."

Later that same day, Congressman Norcross encouraged individuals with an interest in public service to apply for summer internships in his offices located in Camden, Cherry Hill, or Washington D.C., noting that applications would close soon. "Have a passion for public service? Want to learn how Congress works from the inside? Want to help a community member fix an issue with a federal agency? Apply for a summer internship in my Camden, Cherry Hill, or Washington D.C. office!"
