PSE&G is set to conduct roadwork on West Crystal Lake Avenue in Haddon Township from October 16 to October 18. The work will take place daily from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., resulting in a partial closure of the southbound lane between West Mt. Vernon and West Redman avenues.

Commissioner Al Dyer, who serves as the liaison to the Department of Public Works, advised motorists to plan for alternate routes and allow extra travel time. He emphasized safety, stating, “Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations. Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works oversees more than 1,200 miles of county roads, along with 50 bridges and several dams. Their responsibilities include highway construction projects and routine maintenance such as pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage upkeep. The department operates out of Lindenwold with personnel available around the clock.

Residents can report issues on Camden County roads by calling (856) 566-2980 or visiting www.camdencounty.com.
