Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco (R-25) joined Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill and Morris County officials to welcome the USS New Jersey crew ahead of the September 14 commissioning of the country’s newest submarine.
“Welcoming the crew of the USS New Jersey was an honor and I am excited to see the New Jersey namesake embark on its journey to uphold our state motto of ‘liberty and prosperity’ for all Americans,” said Sen. Bucco. “Thank you to Congresswoman Sherrill, Morris County, the crew, and everyone else responsible for making this happen—New Jersey will make you proud!”
