Two sections of Kings Highway in New Jersey will experience partial closures next week due to ongoing improvement projects. The first closure will occur from April 14 to April 15 between East Lake Drive and Edgewood Avenue in Audubon, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. The second closure runs from April 14 to April 18, between Kings Highway and Market Street in Mount Ephraim, following the same daily schedule.
Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works, addressed the closures, stating, "While these closures may cause some disruptions, it is an important step in the overall revitalization of this roadway." He advised motorists to avoid these areas or find alternate routes to prevent delays and emphasized the importance of slowing down and being cautious when traveling through construction zones.
Residents with inquiries about the project can contact Paul Nolan, Project Manager at Colliers Engineering & Design, at (732) 704-5931. Additionally, concerns about Camden County roadways can be reported by calling (856) 566-2980 or visiting the county's website.
