EDA awards over $4 million in grants for economic development projects in New Jersey in 2023

In 2023, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) issued five grants totaling $4,857,441 to fund economic development projects in New Jersey.

This represents an 87% decrease from 2022, when the state received $37,261,531 in funding.

New Jersey ranked 32nd across the U.S. in total EDA grant funding for 2023. South Carolina topped the list with $30,038,466 in funding across 14 grants.

City of Vineland received the largest EDA grant for funding an economic development project in the state, totalling $3,000,000.
