On February 11, 2025, Congressman Norcross addressed New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy with a suggestion via Twitter. The tweet read: "Hey @GovMurphy, I have an idea..."
The following day, February 12, 2025, he voiced his support for federal workers and the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE). He stated: "I stand with @AFGENational and federal workers who keep our country running. Their contracts are enforceable by law and Trump cannot unilaterally change them. You deserve better, and the American people who rely on your work deserve better."
Later that day, Congressman Norcross paid tribute to the NAACP's longstanding commitment to civil rights. He tweeted: "The @NAACP has been at the forefront of civil rights for 116 years. Today, we honor their tireless fight for racial equity and justice."
