For several weeks, municipalities in and around Morris County, New Jersey, have reported drone sightings. State Senator Anthony Bucco addressed these incidents in a recent statement.

Senator Bucco stated, "For the last several weeks a number of municipalities in and around Morris County have experienced drone sightings in various locations, including a few over my own home." He has been in communication with law enforcement agencies, including the State Police, County Sheriff, and the Morris County Prosecutor. Authorities assure there is no known imminent threat from these drones.

"Our law enforcement community, including the FBI," Bucco noted, "continues to gather information on the drones and providing information to the public as it becomes available."

The senator advised residents to report any information or sightings of drones to their local police department using direct local numbers. He emphasized that 911 should be used for emergencies only.

Bucco concluded by stating his commitment to working with law enforcement at all levels to ensure community safety: "I will continue to work with law enforcement at all levels to assure the safety of our communities."
