PSE&G is set to perform roadwork on Park Avenue in Pennsauken, leading to a partial closure of the westbound lane between Bethel and Cooper avenues. The work is scheduled for Thursday, October 10, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works, advised motorists to "plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations." He also reminded drivers that "when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris."

The Camden County Department of Public Works manages over 1,200 miles of county roads along with bridges and dams. Their responsibilities include highway construction projects, pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage maintenance. The department operates from Lindenwold with personnel available around the clock.

Residents can report issues on Camden County roads by calling (856) 566-2980 or visiting www.camdencounty.com.
