Join us at the Liberation From Incineration Webinar!
This virtual webinar is part of a series hosted and organized by EJ Communities Against Incineration, a coalition of Environmental Justice groups and organizations that support communities with the tools and knowledge necessary to engage in advocacy to protect their communities against the ongoing impacts of the incineration industry.
This webinar is an intentional educational space for community members/residents of New Jersey's EJ communities and anyone interested in learning more about incineration. It aims to provide information about what incineration (or so-called waste-to-energy) is, and the impacts of incineration on the health and well-being of EJ communities in NJ.
We will explore some strategies and alternatives available to move away from the toxic practice of burning waste to address the waste crisis.
As part of the workshop, participants will get access to watch the documentary The Sacrifice Zone!
