The Board of Commissioners convened for the Camden County town hall meeting in Gloucester City on Thursday. The meeting provided an opportunity for interaction between local officials and residents.

“These town halls are important because we get the chance to interact directly with our constituents,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. He further encouraged residents to participate by expressing concerns and staying informed about developments in Camden County, New Jersey, and across the nation.

A highlight of the event was honoring Navy veteran Theodore Howarth, a lifelong Gloucester City resident and the city's retired police chief. Howarth served in the Vietnam War from 1965 to 1968 and was awarded the Bronze Star for his service.
