Camden County officer completes cancer treatment at MD Anderson

The Camden County Police Department and FOP Lodge 218 recently celebrated with Officer Timothy Purnell as he completed his last chemotherapy session at MD Anderson Cancer Center, part of Cooper University Health Care.

Chief Gabriel Rodriguez expressed his admiration for Officer Purnell's resilience throughout his treatment. "Officer Purnell has put up a remarkable fight and it is amazing to see him reach the end of his treatment," he stated. Chief Rodriguez added, "We are overjoyed to be a part of such a momentous occasion and we cannot wait to watch him ring that bell."

Officer Purnell's journey through cancer treatment has been closely followed by colleagues who have supported him along the way. His final treatment marks an important milestone not only in his personal life but also within the community that has stood by him.
