Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey’s 1st district since 2014, has recently taken to social media to express his support for a local sports team and reflect on International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Norcross replaced former Congressman Rob Andrews and has a history of public service in the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate.
On January 26, 2025, Congressman Norcross shared his enthusiasm for an upcoming sporting event with the message "Big game today! Go birds ".
Following this, on January 27, 2025, he celebrated a victory by stating "Go Birds . . . to the Super Bowl!".
Later that day, Congressman Norcross addressed a solemn occasion with a tweet marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day. He noted the significance of the day as it marked 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz. His post read: "Today, on International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we mark 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz and honor the 6 million Jewish lives lost. As Jewish families around the world face rising antisemitism, we must work to ensure that 'never again' is a promise kept."
