Today, Senator Joe Pennacchio from New Jersey's 26th District sent a letter to President-elect Donald J. Trump. The letter requests assistance from the incoming administration in identifying the origins and purpose of mysterious drones seen across New Jersey.

In his communication, Pennacchio emphasized the efforts of local, county, and state law enforcement officials who are working to find answers about these drone sightings. He expressed concern over the lack of information from federal security agencies, stating: “Local, county, and state law enforcement officials are working diligently trying to find answers. Without these answers we have no idea whether the citizens of our state are safe. Unfortunately, they depend on our federal security agencies for answer and directions. To date, almost a month into their initial sightings no answers have come from those federal agencies."

Pennacchio urged Trump to use available resources before his inauguration to gather information that could be shared with New Jersey residents: “Please use whatever resources you have as you await your inauguration to gather any information you can share with the citizens of New Jersey so we can move forward on this important issue. Our current administration is failing us in this effort. I trust you will not.”

The full letter is available online for public viewing.
