The Camden County Police Department is actively working to reduce property crimes such as illegal dumping and graffiti in the city. Recently, a press conference was held by the mayor and Board of Commissioners at a gas station on Admiral Wilson Boulevard, known for being a hotspot for illegal activities. Since then, the site has been cleaned and secured by the city's Department of Public Works.

On December 6, Donald Park III from Cherry Hill Township was arrested twice for spray-painting graffiti at this location. Christina Wilson from Palmyra was also arrested. Initially apprehended at 4:06 p.m., both were charged with defiant trespassing. Park faced additional charges of criminal mischief, while Wilson was charged with conspiracy.

Later that evening, Park returned to the site and was arrested again at 8:11 p.m. His vehicle was impounded, and he received further charges of criminal mischief and defiant trespassing before being remanded to Camden County Jail.

Chief Gabriel Rodriguez emphasized the role of technology in catching suspects in real-time. “Having state-of-the-art technology to catch these suspects in the act and then being able to immediately respond in a forward-leaning position is invaluable to our agency,” Rodriguez stated. He warned that repeated offenses would not be tolerated.

Camden City Mayor Victor Carstarphen commended the police department's efforts and cautioned against any attempts to disrupt city neighborhoods. “The Camden County Police Department continually shows up for this community, ensuring that anyone threatening our quality of life is immediately handled properly,” Carstarphen said. He expressed gratitude towards the police for their dedication to maintaining order in Camden.
