New Jersey legislators call for transparency on drone sightings

Senator Parker Space, Assemblywoman Dawn Fantasia, and Assemblyman Mike Inganamort have expressed concerns about drones flying over New Jersey. The trio released a statement addressing reports of drones seen hovering over neighborhoods and military sites in the area.

"Our constituents are rightly concerned about unsettling reports of mysterious drones hovering over neighborhoods and military establishments in our area," they stated. They urged Governor Murphy and federal authorities to provide more information to ease public concern. The legislators assured that they would maintain communication with law enforcement to ensure community safety while seeking a clearer understanding of the situation.

They also emphasized the need for government briefings on drone activities to be accessible to all affected officials, not just a select few.

In their statement, they encouraged anyone with reliable information about these drone sightings to contact the Federal Bureau of Investigation through its tips line at 1-800-CALL-FBI (800-225-5324) or online at tips.fbi.gov by clicking 'submit a tip.'
