In order to create space for more dogs in need, the Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center will be waiving adoption fees for all dogs this week. The adoption center is open Tuesday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“The shelter is at capacity for dogs, and we are in urgent need of adopters and families to foster dogs,” said Commissioner Jeffrey Nash, liaison to the animal shelter. “There are so many loving animals at Homeward Bound just waiting to find a home so please, if you can, consider adopting one of the dogs here at the shelter.”
