In Blackwood, NJ, Homeward Bound Pet Adoption Center has announced a special $5 dog adoption fee for all dogs this weekend. The adoption center will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday through Sunday.

Commissioner Jonathan Young, who serves as the liaison to the animal shelter, emphasized the importance of finding forever homes for these animals, stating, "We need the public’s help in finding loving homes for these animals." He further urged the community to consider adoption, saying, "Please consider opening your heart and your home to a new pet. And if you are unable to adopt right now, the shelter is always looking for donations."
