Senate Republican Leader Anthony Bucco (R-25) expressed his condolences on the passing of Rep. Donald Payne, Jr., acknowledging him as a dedicated public servant. In a statement, Senator Bucco stated, "I am saddened to hear about the passing of Rep. Donald Payne, Jr. Congressman Payne was a true public servant who fought hard for what he believed in and for his constituents. I admired his tenacity to stay vigilant for the causes he held close to his heart and I am grateful for his many years of service. My thoughts and prayers are extended to his family during this difficult time."
