Roadwork is set to cause road closures and traffic disruptions in various areas in Camden County. PSE&G and New Jersey American Water will be carrying out maintenance work on several roads starting Monday, April 1.
PSE&G will be working on Lexington Avenue in Pennsauken, Union Avenue in Pennsauken, and Burnt Mill Road in Cherry Hill, causing partial and full road closures. New Jersey American Water will also be working on Kings Highway in Audubon and Wyoming Avenue in Audubon, resulting in full road closures.
In a statement, Commissioner Al Dyer emphasized the importance of planning ahead for alternate routes and allowing extra travel time. He also reminded motorists to drive cautiously through construction zones.
The Camden County Department of Public Works, responsible for maintaining a significant road network, aims to enhance safety for both motorists and pedestrians through various construction projects and road maintenance activities.
