Senator Jim Holzapfel and Assemblymen Greg McGuckin and John Catalano from District 10 have announced their support for a GOP resolution to stand with Israel in the wake of recent terrorist attacks. The legislators strongly condemned the violent acts carried out by Hamas and expressed their commitment to sponsoring the Assembly and Senate versions of the resolution.

Holzapfel emphasized the importance of unity in condemning such acts, stating, "The horrific slaughtering of innocent civilians is a detestable act of extremism that must be condemned fully. Our united and steadfast commitment to Israel is paramount in the face of this violent extremism."

McGuckin echoed these sentiments, expressing solidarity with New Jerseyans with ties to Israel and emphasizing their support for Israel's defense efforts. He stated, "It was incredibly disturbing to see the unjustified and barbaric attack of our ally Israel... The Assembly and Senate GOP resolutions are a testament to our unwavering commitment to stand with our Jewish communities during this difficult time."

Asm. Catalano highlighted the need for action in response to such violence and expressed sympathy for the affected families. He stated, "When innocent men and women lose their lives at the hands of savages like Hamas terrorists, it demands action from legislators to condemn those horrible acts of violence... The Assembly and Senate GOP resolutions condemning this violent extremism affirms our wholehearted support of Israel and the Jewish People."

The White House also announced arrangements for the evacuation of Americans from Israel to Europe, which Asm. Catalano expressed support for, hoping for a safe return of those wishing to leave. He urged for the passage of the resolution, emphasizing the Legislature's responsibility to stand united against evil.

The District 10 legislators' support for the GOP resolution underscores their commitment to standing with Israel and condemning acts of terrorism, solidifying their stance in the face of recent events.
