TRENTON – Governor Phil Murphy, Senate President Nicholas P. Scutari, Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin, Senate Minority Leader Anthony M. Bucco, and Assembly Minority Leader John DiMaio came together to release a joint statement condemning the recent terrorist attacks in Israel. In their unified message, the leaders expressed solidarity with the people of Israel and denounced the acts of violence perpetrated by Hamas.
"New Jersey stands with the people of Israel in the wake of Hamas’ unspeakable acts of brutality against innocent civilians. We are united across party lines in the fight against terrorism and are praying for the victims, their families, and the people of the region," the statement read.
The bipartisan statement highlighted the shared commitment of New Jersey's political leaders to stand together against terrorism and to offer support to those affected by such atrocities. The leaders extended their thoughts and prayers to the victims and their families, while reaffirming their solidarity with the people of Israel during this challenging time.
