The Read Across America initiative encourages youth to disconnect from technology and immerse themselves into a world of literature. The YW School Age Program team helped celebrated the legacy of Dr. Seuss on his birthday at Honiss and Seltzer Schools in Dumont reading stories and doing fun activities with the students. A special treat was watching a video of U.S. Senator Cory Booker reading Grandma Lena’s Big Ol’ Turnip by Denia Lewis Hester.
