Senator Robert Singer has addressed the recent development concerning the Toms River School District’s decision to declare bankruptcy. In a statement, he emphasized that the district has made significant efforts to handle a challenging situation.

“The Toms River School District has done everything in its power to manage an incredibly difficult situation,” stated Senator Singer. He further explained that the bankruptcy filing should not be viewed as a leadership failure but rather as “a desperate appeal for common sense.”

Singer highlighted the importance of community support during such times, urging people to unite in their efforts to assist students and teachers. “Moments like this are when we must come together as a community to support our students and teachers,” he said.
