The Board of Commissioners organized the third annual String Band Parade on Saturday. The event aimed to promote the county as a destination and support the local economy through music and performances by the Mummers.

The parade included food, games, and music from 14 string bands marching down Haddon Avenue. After the parade concluded, these bands continued to entertain outside various sponsored venues throughout Haddon Township.

“Each year, this event has gotten more popular, so we are thrilled to bring it back again,” said Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. “It is always a great chance for the community to come together, support local businesses and have a good time.”

The parade was supported by sponsors such as Brewers Towne Tavern, Reunion Hall, PJ Whelian’s, Central Taco, the Pour House, Treno Pizza Bar, Keg & Kitchen, Severino’s Pasta, Cook’s Liquors, Tom Fischer’s Tavern and the Tap Room featuring Santucci’s.
