Senate Republican Leader Anthony M. Bucco has expressed commendation for Major Aaron J. Oliver, who has been awarded the Bronze Star Medal for his service with the National Guard in the Middle East.
“Congratulations to my friend Major Aaron J. Oliver on receiving the Bronze Star Medal,” said Sen. Bucco. “This award is proof of Aaron’s commitment to his fellow soldiers and his dedication to service is an inspiration to us all. I wish him and all our service members a safe tour of duty and speedy return.”
Major Oliver, a native and resident of Morristown, serves as a senior chaplain with the National Guard in the Middle East. He provides spiritual guidance to over 1,200 military personnel and is recognized for exceptionally meritorious service supporting Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve.
