Old White Horse Pike in Winslow Township will be closed indefinitely starting Friday due to infrastructure work. The closure affects the stretch between Ehrke Road and Route 30.

Commissioner Al Dyer, who serves as a liaison to the Department of Public Works, advised motorists to plan alternate routes and allow extra travel time. He emphasized safety, stating, “Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations. Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works oversees over 1,200 miles of county roads, along with maintaining 50 bridges and several dams. Their responsibilities include highway construction projects and road maintenance tasks such as pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage upkeep. The department operates out of Lindenwold with personnel available around the clock.

Residents can report concerns about Camden County roadways by calling (856) 566-2980 or visiting www.camdencounty.com.
