Senator Declan O'Scanlon (R-13) released a statement in response to the attempted car theft and shooting that occurred this morning in Rumson, NJ.
"My heart goes out to the community of Rumson and the brave law enforcement officers who stand up to protect us every day. I want to especially recognize the Fair Haven officer who was injured this morning in the line of duty and wish them a speedy recovery. We must do everything in our power to ensure safety in our communities and that starts with supporting our police and first responders and holding criminals accountable for their actions."
