In anticipation of Memorial Day, Commissioner Melinda Kane, who is also a gold star mother, joined elected officials, volunteers, and community members from Cherry Hill on Sunday to pay tribute to veterans at Locustwood Cemetery. The group placed American flags on the graves of veterans in recognition of their service and sacrifices in the armed forces.

"With Memorial Day around the corner, we want to make sure each and every veteran here in Camden County is honored for serving their country," said Kane. "This is a wonderful way for the community to come together and show their appreciation for our veterans."
