PSE&G has announced several roadwork projects in Camden County scheduled for next week. According to the company's plans, Market Street in Camden, Haddon and Newton avenues intersection, Prospect Ridge Boulevard in Haddon Heights, Erial-New Brooklyn Road in Winslow Township, and Little Gloucester Road in Gloucester Township will all be affected by the construction works.

"Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations," advised Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. He further added, "Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris."

The Camden County Department of Public Works, responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway and 50 bridges, aims to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians through various construction projects and road maintenance activities. These include pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold and operates 24/7 to serve the residents of Camden County.
