Senators Kristin Corrado (R-40) and Latham Tiver (R-8) have joined forces to initiate a "Socks for Soldiers" collection drive set to take place throughout the month of March.

“New socks are always in high demand by our troops who serve both at home and abroad,” stated Senator Corrado (R-40) expressing gratitude towards the local schools and volunteers who have already shown their support. She emphasized, "Giving soldiers clean, unworn socks is the least we can do to help these heroes stay warm and comfortable. This is a great way to support those who risk their lives every day to keep our country safe.”

Senator Tiver (R-8), who serves on the Senate Military and Veterans’ Affairs Committee, highlighted the importance of new socks for active military personnel, stating, “New socks are actually one of the items most often requested by our active military men and women. This is an easy, inexpensive way to help those who have sacrificed so much on our behalf. For a young man or woman serving far from home, access to new socks can make a big difference."

Donations for the "Socks for Soldiers" drive can be dropped off at Senator Corrado’s office at 999 Riverview Dr., Suite 350 in Totowa or at Senator Tiver's office at Elmwood Business Park, Suite B-101 in Evesham.

For inquiries regarding the collection drive, individuals can reach out to Senator Corrado’s office at [email protected] or contact Senator Tiver's office at [email protected]
