On Monday, January 16, 2023 Rowan University will hold it's 37th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Scholarship Breakfast and Day of Service.
One of the University’s most highly anticipated and well-attended events, this annual occasion provides an opportunity for the Rowan community to honor the life and legacy of Dr. King. All proceeds will provide four-year support to talented students through the William H. Myers Memorial Scholarships, furthering the University’s mission to provide an accessible, quality education at an affordable cost.
This year’s special guest is Dr. Mae C. Jemison, the first woman of color to travel into space and NASA’s first Science Mission Specialist. She speaks on issues of health care, social responsibility, technology, education, STEM and motivation. We are excited for her to continue our long-standing tradition of featuring engaging, influential and memorable speakers.
To register for this event, please contact Marie Polk by January 10, 2023. Parking will be available on campus in Lot E or the third level of the Townhouse Garage.
