This week at empower (U)niversity, we were joined by Elisabet Kennedy, who led us through an inspiring and mindful two-part creative writing workshop! Elisabet Kennedy is a local high school library media specialist and author. She is a proud Latina, pop culture superfan, and lifetime learner. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Journalism/Media Studies from Rutgers University, went on to earn her Master in Library Information Science from San Jose State University, and most recently earned a Master of Arts in Education from Marshall University. Elisabet helped us with writing tips and prompts and showed us how to channel our inner writer!
