Seton Hall University announced on May 14 the launch of a new image advertising campaign throughout northern New Jersey, aiming to increase visibility and awareness of its graduate programs during the spring and summer travel seasons.

The campaign seeks to reach prospective students at a time when many are considering further education. Seton Hall’s ads will appear in high-traffic areas such as Newark Liberty International Airport’s Terminal A, Hoboken Terminal, and across the New Jersey Transit rail system, including stations in South Orange, Montclair, Morristown, Metropark, Newark, Jersey City, and Hoboken. Additional billboards are placed near the Prudential Center and Seton Hall Law School in Newark.

According to Seton Hall University, the initiative is expected to generate more than 17 million impressions over the course of spring and summer. The advertisements focus on graduate studies and highlight how Seton Hall’s programs can help students “go further, find their purpose and reach their greater aim.” Christopher Cuccia, Ed.D., associate provost for academic and graduate affairs said the campaign “will help expand awareness of Seton Hall as a dynamic center for graduate education in fields as diverse as counseling, business and healthcare, cybersecurity, education and social work.”

The effort reflects recent research that informed an updated brand strategy centered on purposefulness, resilience, Catholic mission values, a welcoming culture with good humor, and a commitment to academic excellence. Pegeen Hopkins, assistant vice president for strategic communications and brand said: “Our new campaign creates an exciting opportunity to share who we are and highlight the transformative possibilities a Seton Hall education can offer.”

University officials encourage community members who see the ads to share photos on social media using tags related to Seton Hall University. The university indicated there will be additional initiatives forthcoming.
