Senator Parker Space has criticized the New Jersey budget process, accusing Democrats of lacking transparency and adding last-minute expenditures that increase the state’s structural deficit.

“This budget is stuffed with pork and completely ignores the needs of New Jersey families,” stated Sen. Space. He further claimed, “Trenton Democrats have made no serious effort to make our state more affordable—just more reckless spending that sticks taxpayers and job creators with the bill.”

According to Sen. Space, Republicans were excluded from the budget process, depriving New Jersey residents of potential relief. He remarked, “Instead of working together, Democrats doubled down on their failed policies which have led to higher taxes and increased costs across the board.”
