Senator Robert Singer (R-30) was honored by Lakewood Square for his dedication to advocating for senior citizens in New Jersey’s 30th legislative district. At the event “Connections” for women of the 55 and up community, Singer was presented with a plaque in recognition of his unwavering commitment to seniors.

In his acceptance speech, Senator Singer expressed his gratitude, stating, “The work that we do on behalf of our incredible seniors is a testament to our steadfast commitment to making New Jersey a place that is great to live, work, and most importantly retire.” He highlighted the impact of legislation he has sponsored, such as the establishment of the Meals on Wheels fund and initiatives to improve care for seniors and veterans in nursing homes.

Senator Singer, who has represented Lakewood since 1993, emphasized his dedication to continuing his advocacy for the senior community in Lakewood and across the state. He praised Lakewood Square for their work in supporting women in the 55 and up communities, stating, “I’m honored to receive this award and I commend Lakewood Square for the great work that they do.”

As a vocal member of the Senate Health, Human Services, and Senior Citizens Committee, Senator Singer is known for championing quality-of-life improvements for seniors in New Jersey. He also serves on the Senate Legislative Oversight Committee, Senate Commerce Committee, and Senate Higher Education Committee.
