New Jersey American Water will conduct roadwork on Schubert Avenue in Runnemede, New Jersey, resulting in a road closure this Friday. The affected section lies between Clements Bridge Road and Pine Avenue, and the closure will occur from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Commissioner Al Dyer, who is connected to the Department of Public Works, advised motorists to “plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations.” He further emphasized the importance of safety: “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works manages over 1,200 miles of county roads along with 50 bridges and several dams. Their efforts include highway construction projects and regular road maintenance such as pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage upkeep. Based in Lindenwold, the department operates around the clock every day to assist Camden County residents.
