Red Bull New York prepares to face Sporting Kansas City on May 23

Red Bull New York, with a record of five wins, five draws, and four losses for a total of 19 points, will travel to Sporting Park for the first time since 2022 to play against Sporting Kansas City, who currently have three wins, eight losses, and two draws totaling 11 points. The match is scheduled for Saturday, May 23.

According to data released by Red Bull New York Director of Communications Andrew Vazzano, Cade Cowell has contributed three goals in his last three appearances and has accumulated five assists this season. This places him tied for ninth-most assists in the Eastern Conference.

The team has created 17 clear cut chances so far this season, ranking them tied for fourth-most in Major League Soccer. Red Bull New York also leads the league with a total of 1,990 sprints recorded. Jorge Ruvalcaba accounts for 262 of those sprints and currently leads all players in the league in that category.

In set pieces, Red Bull New York has taken 90 corner kicks this season—second most among all teams. Adri Mehmeti leads his team with a total of 23 fouls committed during the current campaign.

Sporting Kansas City enters the match ranked last in Major League Soccer with an expected goals figure of 11.64 so far this year. Kickoff is set for 8:30 p.m. Eastern Time with coverage available on Apple TV in both English and Spanish, as well as on Red Bulls Radio via the team’s app and website.
