(Pennsauken, NJ) – The Spring on Tap Beer Festival, originally scheduled for Sunday, May 5, has been postponed due to inclement weather. A new date for the event, hosted by the Camden County Commissioners and Visit South Jersey, will be announced in the near future.

The festival, set to take place at Veteran’s Island in Cooper River Park, promises a day filled with local craft beers from seven participating breweries, food trucks, live music, vendors, and a performance by LeCompt, a Philadelphia-based classic rock cover band. Commissioner Jeff Nash expressed excitement about the event, stating, “We are thrilled to host our first Spring on Tap Beer Festival, we just know it’s going to be a hit.”

Visit South Jersey’s director of operations, Michael Snyder, highlighted the significance of the festival coinciding with Cinco de Mayo, saying, “The fact that this inaugural beer festival for Camden County falls on Cinco de Mayo is icing on the cake.” Snyder emphasized the growing craft brewery scene in South Jersey and the opportunity for visitors to experience the region’s brews in the scenic setting of Cooper River.

The Camden County Commissioners and Visit South Jersey are collaborating to bring this event to the community. Visit South Jersey, the official destination marketing organization for Burlington, Camden, Gloucester, and Salem counties, as well as the Outer Coastal Plain Wine Region in South Jersey, aims to promote the local businesses and attractions of the region.

Despite the postponement, the anticipation for the Spring on Tap Beer Festival remains high, with organizers eager to showcase the best of Camden County’s offerings in food, drinks, and entertainment. The event promises to be a fun-filled day out on the banks of the Cooper River, celebrating local breweries and the vibrant spirit of the community.
