Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey’s 1st district, has recently shared his views and activities on social media. His recent tweets address national budget concerns, union solidarity, and historical reflections.

On June 17, 2025, Norcross expressed his disapproval of the proposed budget by former President Trump. He stated that “Most Americans don’t believe we should cut Medicaid and Medicare or take away food assistance from our seniors or children. Trump’s budget is unpopular and doesn’t help South Jersey families.

The following day, June 18, 2025, he shared his enthusiasm about reuniting with union members at a state conference. He tweeted: “It feels great to be back with my union brothers and sisters at the @NJAFLCIO State Conference. Together, we will continue to fight for the hard-working families in New Jersey and across America.

On June 19, 2025, Congressman Norcross reflected on a past conversation about Juneteenth with Mary Elliott from the National Museum of African American History and Culture. He invited others to listen to their discussion: “A few years ago, I had the honor of speaking with Mary Elliott, curator at the @NMAAHC, about the meaning of Juneteenth. Listen to it here:

Donald Norcross has been serving in Congress since succeeding Rob Andrews in 2014. Prior to this role, he was a member of both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate.
