Norcross announces constituent fair amid concern over flooding and healthcare cuts

Congressman Donald Norcross, representing New Jersey’s 1st District, has been active on social media, providing updates and expressing concerns on various issues. Serving in the U.S. Congress since 2014 after replacing Rob Andrews, Norcross has shared insights into his ongoing commitments and political stance.

On July 6, 2025, Congressman Norcross announced his 8th Annual Constituent Services Fair, scheduled for July 21st at Camden County College in Blackwood. The event will run from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM and will feature over 100 local, state, and federal resources available to constituents.

The following day, July 7, he expressed sympathy for those affected by the flooding in Kerr County. In his message, he stated “I am thinking of those who have lost their lives or remain missing as a result of the devastating flooding in Kerr County. Thank you to the first responders from across the nation who have been leading search and rescue efforts throughout the weekend and into today.”

Later that same day, Congressman Norcross communicated his disapproval of significant healthcare budget reductions. He shared that “Last week, I voted NO on the largest healthcare cuts in American History.”

Donald Norcross has served New Jersey’s 1st District since succeeding Rob Andrews in 2014. Born in Camden in 1958 and currently residing there at age 64, he previously held positions in both the New Jersey General Assembly and Senate before joining Congress.
